Use cases
Exercises where everyone takes part, not only the people at the table
Tactirun supports discussion-based and tabletop exercises, training courses and larger exercises across organisations. The facilitator stays in control; participants contribute from their own phones.
Crisis-management exercises
Walk a crisis team through an unfolding situation — a flood, a long power cut, a cyber incident — and capture every decision along the way.
- Present each development as a slide at the moment it happens in the scenario.
- Ask the team what they do next and see the spread of answers before discussing it.
- Send some slides only to the roles or units they concern.
- Leave with a report that shows what was decided, by whom (or anonymously) and where the gaps were.
Training courses
Keep a room of learners engaged and give the trainer something to assess.
- Check understanding with scored questions and reveal the answers when the group has responded.
- Collect one-word and written answers for discussion without anyone having to speak first.
- Assess participants on the course competences and show each person their own radar at the end.
- Reuse the same scenario for every course group; each run is kept separately.
Exercises across organisations
Municipalities, agencies and companies exercising together need to see how each part of the response performed.
- Describe participants by organisation, region or role with your own attributes and institution catalogue.
- Compare results between organisations and roll units up to their parent institutions.
- Give observers and evaluators a read-only Console.
- Share pseudonymous or anonymous reports with partners, with small groups suppressed.
A typical exercise
Before
The author writes the scenario in Studio and publishes it. The facilitator schedules a run, invites participants or imports them from a spreadsheet, and sets the attributes to ask on joining.
During
Participants join from their phones. The facilitator sends the situation slide by slide, reveals answers, answers questions and watches the results by group.
After
Facilitators assess answers and competences, review the radar, and generate the report for the after-action review in the privacy level it needs.
